Katharina Prelicz-Huber is a Swiss politician and member of the National Council representing the Green Party of Switzerland. With a long career in local and cantonal politics in Zurich, she served on the municipal council and the cantonal council before joining the National Council in 2008. Beyond her parliamentary duties, she is the president of the Swiss Union of Public Service Personnel (VPOD) and has been a dedicated advocate for women's rights since 1991. She is a strong proponent of Swiss federalism and direct democracy.
