Katie Hobbs

Katie Hobbs is an American politician serving as the 24th Governor of Arizona since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served as Arizona's Secretary of State from 2019 to 2023 and as a member of the Arizona Legislature, including time as Senate minority leader. Before entering politics, she worked as a social worker and chief compliance officer for a domestic violence center. As governor, she has focused on state policy initiatives, including the repeal of a 19th-century abortion ban and the management of state execution protocols.
