青木克徳

Katsunori Aoki is a Japanese politician currently serving his fifth term as the Mayor of Katsushika Ward in Tokyo. Born in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture, he moved to Katsushika during his childhood and spent his early career as a civil servant within the Katsushika Ward office, eventually holding senior positions including Director of Regional Promotion and Director of Policy Management. He was first elected mayor in 2009 and has since been re-elected four times. His political philosophy centers on a 'field-first, resident-first' approach, with a focus on urban redevelopment, disaster prevention, and child-rearing support.
