Katy Hoffmeister is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1999, she previously served as the Minister of Justice for the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from 2016 to 2021. Before her political career, she worked in legal and management roles at the University of Rostock and the University Medicine Rostock. Since May 2025, she has served as the General Secretary of the CDU in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
