Kazuhiko Aoki is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors, currently holding the position of Chairman of the Committee on Rules and Administration. Born in Shimane Prefecture, he is the son of the late prominent politician Mikio Aoki. After working at San-in Chuo Television Broadcasting, he served as a secretary to his father before being elected to the House of Councillors in 2010. Throughout his career, he has held various government roles, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary. Politically, he is known for his conservative views, supporting constitutional reform, the strengthening of Japan's defense capabilities, and the continued use of nuclear power.
