平井一三

Kazumi Hirai is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Chikushino City in Fukuoka Prefecture. Born in 1954, he graduated from the Kyushu Institute of Technology before working in the construction and consulting sectors and managing a family business. He began his political career as a member of the Chikushino City Council in 2007, followed by three terms as a member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly starting in 2011. In 2023, he was elected as the Mayor of Chikushino, assuming office on February 1, 2023.
