Kazushi Mihashi is a Japanese politician and lawyer currently serving as the Mayor of Kashiba, Nara Prefecture. Born in Osaka in 1988, he previously worked at Nanto Bank and the Nara Prefectural Government before serving as a member of the Nara City Council. After an unsuccessful bid for Mayor of Nara in 2021, he was elected Mayor of Kashiba in 2024. His administration has focused on administrative reforms, including the reorganization of advisory bodies, the implementation of a 'lercation' system for students, and infrastructure improvements such as the expansion of express train services at Goido Station.
