江頭実

Minoru Egashira is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kikuchi in Kumamoto Prefecture. After graduating from Kyushu University, he had a long career in the banking sector, including roles as the president of Swiss Fuji Bank and manager of the London branch. He entered politics in 2013 and has since been re-elected multiple times. During his tenure, he has focused on regional revitalization, including the promotion of local agricultural brands and the attraction of private enterprises to the city. In 2021, he faced allegations of workplace harassment from city staff, which he has publicly denied.
