Kenny Nguyen is an American politician serving as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives for District 33. Born to Vietnamese refugees, he is the first Vietnamese-American to serve in the Colorado General Assembly. Before his legislative appointment in 2026, Nguyen served on the Broomfield City Council and worked as an executive assistant to the Lieutenant Governor. He holds degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Colorado Denver, and he has focused his legislative career on state, civic, and transportation policy.
