Kenya Akiba is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. A graduate of Chuo University and the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, he began his political career as a member of the Miyagi Prefectural Assembly before being elected to the national Diet. Throughout his career, he has held several key positions, including Minister for Reconstruction, State Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister. Akiba has been involved in various policy areas, including disaster recovery, social security, and foreign affairs.
