Khairul Amir Mohamad Zubir is a Malaysian public administrator who served as the President of the Taiping Municipal Council (Mayor of Taiping) from 2020 until his retirement in January 2026. Throughout his 33-year career in local government, he held leadership positions including President of the Kampar District Council and the Kerian District Council. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree from the Universiti Sains Malaysia. During his tenure in Taiping, he focused on urban development, heritage conservation, and the modernization of municipal services, including the introduction of electric bus operations.
