Kim Darroch

Kim Darroch, Baron Darroch of Kew, is a British diplomat and life peer serving as a member of the House of Lords. He had a distinguished 40-year career in the British Diplomatic Service, holding significant roles including National Security Adviser and UK Permanent Representative to the European Union. From 2016 to 2019, he served as the British Ambassador to the United States, a tenure that concluded following the leak of diplomatic cables critical of the Trump administration. Since his retirement from the diplomatic service, he has remained active in public life, including his role as chairperson of the internationalist campaign group Best for Britain.
