Kirk McPike is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 5th district, having won a special election in February 2026. Prior to his legislative service, he was a member of the Alexandria City Council from 2021 to 2026 and worked as a long-time chief of staff for U.S. Representative Mark Takano from 2008 to 2026. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, McPike has also served on the Alexandria Budget and Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission.
