Kirsty McNeill is a Scottish Labour and Co-operative politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Midlothian since 2024 and as Minister of State for International Development in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Before entering Parliament, she worked as an Executive Director of policy, advocacy and campaigns at Save the Children, served as an advisor to Prime Minister Gordon Brown during the financial crisis, and led campaigns for Make Poverty History. She is known for her policy focus on children's welfare, poverty reduction, and international development.
