Klaus Kaiser is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 1974, he has represented the Hochsauerlandkreis constituency in the state parliament since 2000. Throughout his legislative career, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group and as Parliamentary State Secretary in the Ministry for Culture and Science from 2017 to 2022. Before his full-time political career, he worked as an educator and served as the director of the adult education center (Volkshochschule) for the Hochsauerland district.
