Knyaz Hasanov is an Armenian-Kurdish politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Armenia. Born in 1945 in the Kotayk province, he has long been a prominent leader of the Kurdish community in Armenia and a member of the NGO Committee of Kurdistan since 1995. Before his parliamentary career, he held various roles in public administration and cinema management. Hasanov is known for advocating for stronger cooperation between the Armenian and Kurdish peoples, particularly regarding their shared political interests concerning the Turkish government.
