菅野 弘一

Koichi Kanno is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Vice President of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly. Born in Minato Ward, Tokyo, he began his political career as a member of the Minato Ward Assembly in 1999, where he served for 14 years and held the position of Assembly Chair. He was first elected to the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly in 2013 and has since been re-elected multiple times. Throughout his tenure, he has held key leadership roles within the Liberal Democratic Party's Tokyo branch, including Secretary-General, and has chaired various committees focused on economic policy, disaster prevention, and COVID-19 countermeasures.
