末松直洋

Naohiro Suematsu is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Uki, Kumamoto Prefecture, having assumed office in February 2025. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he served three terms as a member of the Kumamoto Prefectural Assembly, representing the Uki and Shimomashiki District. Initially elected to the assembly as an independent in 2015, he later joined the Liberal Democratic Party. His administration has focused on local governance and public education, including initiatives to address historical misconceptions regarding infectious diseases like Hansen's disease and Minamata disease through local training programs.
