Masahiko Kondo is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Isehara, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 1975, he graduated from Tokai University before beginning a career in journalism at Jiji Press. He later worked in public relations for the Tokyo Financial Exchange and served in the Kurume City government. After entering politics, he became the branch manager for the Democratic Party for the People in Fukuoka's 6th district. Following an unsuccessful bid in 2024, he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2026 via the proportional representation block. He is known for his background in financial communications and his interest in marathon running.
