Konstantinos Karagounis

Konstantinos Karagounis is a Greek politician and lawyer serving as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for Aetolia-Acarnania. Since June 2024, he has served as the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security. A member of the New Democracy party, he previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights from 2012 to 2013 and served as the party's press spokesperson in 2015. He holds a law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has pursued postgraduate studies in international law and intellectual property at the University of East London and the University of Edinburgh, respectively.
