Keiichi Koshimizu is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in 1962 in Yamanashi Prefecture, he graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University and worked at Canon Inc. for nearly two decades before entering politics. He began his political career as a member of the Saitama City Council, serving three terms. Since his initial election to the national Diet in 2012, he has been elected five times to the House of Representatives. Throughout his career, he has held significant government roles, including Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications and State Minister of Reconstruction. He is currently affiliated with the Komeito party and has participated in coalition-based political initiatives.
