Kris Valderrama

Kriselda Valderrama is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 26. First sworn into office in 2007, she has held various leadership roles, including deputy majority whip and deputy majority leader, and currently serves as the chair of the Economic Matters Committee. Throughout her legislative career, she has been a prominent advocate for paid family leave, workplace anti-harassment protections, and marriage equality. She is of Filipino ancestry and is the daughter of former Maryland State Delegate David Valderrama.
