Kristin Nelson

Kristin Nelson is an American politician serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives for the 38th district. She assumed office in 2026 following a special election to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Debbie Wood. Prior to her election to the state legislature, Nelson served as the chairperson of the Chambers County Republican Party. A resident of Lanett, Alabama, she is a stay-at-home mother who has focused her political career on representing the interests of Chambers and Lee counties.
