Representing District 37A, which includes Maple Grove and parts of Hennepin County, she has held the position of assistant minority leader since 2023. Before her legislative career, she served as the executive director of the Economic Club of Minnesota and as a legislative director for U.S. Representative Harris Fawell. In 2025, she was appointed Chair of the Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee.
