Kristina Kallas

Kristina Kallas is an Estonian politician and political scientist serving as the Minister of Education and Research since April 2023. She is a co-founder and leader of the liberal political party Eesti 200, having served as its chairman from 2018 to 2022 and again from August 2024. In addition to her national ministerial duties, she has been a member of the Tartu City Council since 2021. Kallas holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Tartu and has worked extensively as a researcher and minority rights expert.
