Kristine Howard is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 167th legislative district since her first election in 2018. Born in Haddon Heights, New Jersey, she earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Rutgers Law School. Before entering politics, Howard worked in New Mexico managing a legal and social services organization and later served as an advocate for youth in foster care with the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She also investigated child abuse cases while working for the Chester County Department of Children, Youth, and Family Services. In the state legislature, she serves on the Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Children & Youth, Judiciary, and State Government committees.
