Kuldar Leis

Profile

Kuldar Leis is an Estonian politician currently serving as the Minister of Infrastructure since 2025. Born in Tartu in 1968, he holds degrees in dairy technology from the Õisu Technical School of Food Industry and in financing and loans from the University of Tartu. Before his appointment to the national cabinet, Leis served as the chairman of the Põlva Parish council from 2013 to 2017 and as the chairman of Operail from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, he was awarded the Order of the White Star, IV Class, for his contributions to Estonian society.
