國重徹

Toru Kunishige is a Japanese politician, lawyer, and tax accountant currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. After a career in legal practice focusing on children's rights and civil disputes, he was first elected to the Diet in 2012 representing Osaka's 5th district. During his tenure, he has served as Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications and held various leadership roles within his party, including youth committee chair. His policy focus includes digital social infrastructure, logistics reform, and support for youth and sexual minorities. Following the 2026 general election, he continues his parliamentary service as a representative for the Kinki proportional block.
