Kurt Hackl

Kurt Hackl is an Austrian politician and entrepreneur serving as a member of the Landtag of Lower Austria. Since May 2025, he has held the position of parliamentary group leader (Klubobmann) for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) in the state parliament. Before his tenure in the Landtag, which began in 2008, he served as a local councilor and deputy mayor in Wolkersdorf. Hackl holds a degree in communication science from the University of Vienna and has been active in regional business leadership, including roles within the Lower Austrian Economic Chamber. He has been recognized for his public service with the Grand Silver Decoration of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria.
