Solange Kwarmba

Solange Kwarmba is a Cameroonian politician and Member of the National Assembly representing the Far North Region. Born in Mokolo on November 5, 1980, she pursued higher education, earning a postgraduate degree (DEA) in History from the University of Ngaounderé in 2008 and graduating from the Higher Teacher Training College in Maroua in 2010. Before entering politics, she worked as a high school teacher. A member of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement, she was first elected as a deputy in 2013 as the youngest member of the ninth legislature, breaking new ground for female representation in Mayo-Tsanaga, and was subsequently re-elected in 2020.
