松永恭二

Kyoji Matsunaga is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Marugame City in Kagawa Prefecture. Born in 1960, he previously worked in the private sector for companies including Katokichi and Cecile before entering local politics. He served four terms as a member of the Marugame City Council, where he was affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party. Elected mayor in 2021, he campaigned on a platform of providing cash benefits to citizens, though his administration later faced controversy and legislative adjustments regarding the implementation of these payments. He was re-elected unopposed in 2025.
