Éléonore Yayi Ladekan is a Beninese politician, educator, and chemist. She previously served as the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research from 2019 to 2026, and earlier as the Minister of Maternal and Primary Education. A former academic at the University of Abomey-Calavi, she has been recognized for her work in modernizing university governance and promoting the participation of young women in scientific fields. In early 2026, she transitioned from her ministerial role to serve as a member of the National Assembly representing the 10th electoral district.
