Lalan Singh, born Rajiv Ranjan Singh, is an Indian politician currently serving as the Union Minister of Panchayati Raj and the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying. A prominent leader of the Janata Dal (United), he represents the Munger constituency in the Lok Sabha. Throughout his career, he has held various ministerial positions in the Bihar state government and served as the national president of his party. Known for his long-standing political association with Nitish Kumar, Singh has been a significant figure in Bihar politics since the 1970s.
