Larry Don Suckla

Larry Don Suckla is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives for District 58. A farmer and rancher based in Cortez, Colorado, he previously served for eight years as a Montezuma County Commissioner from 2013 to 2021, during which time he was recognized as the Colorado County Commissioner of the Year in 2017. Before entering politics, Suckla worked in construction, logging, and landscaping, and served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He was elected to the state legislature in 2024 after a closely contested primary and a successful general election campaign.
