Larry McBurney

Larry McBurney is an American politician serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for District 44. Before his election to the state legislature in 2024, he served on the Urbandale City Council starting in 2021. His professional background includes service in the Iowa Air National Guard from 2003 to 2014 and a career as a risk consultant at Wells Fargo. In the Iowa House, he holds committee assignments including Government Oversight, where he serves as the ranking member, as well as Commerce, Labor and Workforce, Local Government, State Government, and Ways and Means.
