Jan Jones is an American politician serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 47th district since 2003. A prominent Republican leader, she has served as Speaker pro tempore of the House since 2010, becoming the first woman to hold that position and the highest-ranking woman in Georgia legislative history. She briefly served as acting Speaker of the House following the death of David Ralston in 2022.
