Lateef Fagbemi is a Nigerian lawyer and politician serving as the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation since August 2023 under President Bola Tinubu. Born in Kwara State, he earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Jos in 1984, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1985, and obtained his Master of Laws from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1987. He achieved the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 1998 and built a prominent career in legal practice before entering government service.
