Laura Castelletti

Laura Castelletti is an Italian politician serving as the Mayor of Brescia since May 2023. She is the first woman to hold this office. Previously, she worked as a chemical and biological laboratory technician at the University of Brescia. Her long political career began in the 1990s with the Italian Socialist Party, and she later served as deputy mayor of Brescia starting in 2013. She founded the local political association Brescia per Passione and has been a prominent figure in the city's municipal council for over three decades.
