Laura Jane Cohen is an American educator and Democratic politician serving as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 15th district. Before entering state politics, she worked as a public school teacher for over two decades and served on the Springfield District School Board from 2020 to 2023. Raised in Georgia and a graduate of the University of Georgia, she moved to Fairfax County in 2001. Cohen was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2023 and was re-elected in 2025.
