Lauren Sullivan

Lauren Sullivan is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Gravesham since the 2024 general election. Before entering national politics, she worked as a scientist specializing in neglected tropical diseases, holding a PhD from the University of Dundee, and later served as a secondary school science teacher. Her local government experience includes serving as a councillor on Gravesham Borough Council and as Leader of the Opposition at Kent County Council. In May 2026, she was appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
