Lazarus Mokgosi

Lazarus Mokgosi is a South African politician serving as the eighth Premier of the North West since June 2024. A member of the African National Congress (ANC), he has been a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature since December 2022 and previously served as the MEC for Social Development. Elected as the Deputy Provincial Chairperson of the ANC in the North West in 2022, Mokgosi has focused his administration on improving local government functionality, economic transformation, and service delivery within the province.
