Rosemary Capa

Rosemary Nokuzola Capa is a South African politician serving as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture since June 2024. A member of the African National Congress, she has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 2014. Her previous government roles include Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Reform, Deputy Minister of Small Business Development, and chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Social Development. Before entering national politics, she was a nurse and midwife, and served as the Executive Mayor of the OR Tambo District Municipality and as a Member of the Executive Council in the Eastern Cape.
