Leah Potgieter, also known as Leah Ruth Knott, is a South African politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa for the Democratic Alliance. Elected in the 2024 general election, she serves as the party's spokesperson for Sports, Arts and Culture. Prior to her national parliamentary role, she held significant local government positions in Johannesburg, including serving as a Member of the Mayoral Committee for Economic Development from 2017 to 2019 and as a Member of the Mayoral Committee for Group Corporate and Shared Services from 2021 to 2023.
