Leeanne Enoch is an Australian politician who has served as the Labor member for Algester in the Queensland Legislative Assembly since 2015. A member of the Quandamooka peoples, she holds the distinction of being the first Indigenous Australian woman elected to the Queensland Parliament. Before entering politics, she worked as a high school English and drama teacher and as a policy manager in the State Education Department. During her parliamentary career, she has held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister for the Arts, Minister for Communities, and Minister for Treaty.
