Leonard Mbao is a Zambian politician currently serving as the Member of the National Assembly for the Mpulungu constituency. He was elected to this position in the August 2021 general election as a candidate for the United Party for National Development (UPND). Following his election, he was appointed by President Hakainde Hichilema to serve as the Provincial Minister for the Northern Province in September 2021. Mbao continues to represent his constituency in the Zambian Parliament.
