Leopoldo Moreau

Leopoldo Moreau is an Argentine politician and journalist who currently serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. A long-time figure in Argentine politics, he began his career in the Radical Civic Union (UCR) and served in both houses of the National Congress between 1983 and 2005. After breaking with the UCR, he founded the National Alfonsinist Movement and aligned himself with the Kirchnerist movement. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent advocate for human rights and social issues, notably supporting the legalization of abortion in Argentina.
