Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei

Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei is a Moldovan politician and educator currently serving as a Member of the Parliament of Moldova. A prominent member of the Party of Action and Solidarity, she has held the position of chair of the parliamentary Committee on Culture, Education, Research, Youth, Sport and Mass Media since 2021. Previously, she served as the Minister of Education, Culture and Research in 2019 and held various roles within the Ministry of Education, including deputy minister. Before entering politics, she worked extensively in the education sector, notably as the executive director of the PRO DIDACTICA educational center and as a lecturer at the State University of Moldova.
