Lilit Galstyan

Lilit Galstyan is an Armenian politician, linguist, and social scientist currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly of Armenia. Born in Yerevan in 1962, she holds a degree in philology from Yerevan State University and a PhD in linguistics from the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. Her extensive professional background includes roles as a teacher, a coordinator for Hamazkayin, and a lecturer at Glendale Community College. Galstyan has also contributed to literature through her translations and academic writing. She was first elected to the National Assembly in 2007 and has been active in legislative committees focusing on science, education, culture, and youth affairs.
