Lloyd Hatton

Lloyd Hatton is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for South Dorset since 2024. Born and raised in Weymouth, he studied history and politics at Queen Mary University of London. Before his election to Parliament, Hatton worked as a political researcher and served as a councillor for the Kilburn ward on the Camden London Borough Council from 2022 to 2024. In May 2026, he was appointed as a Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. He is openly LGBT+ and has been active in local community initiatives throughout his career.
