Lois Frankel

Lois Frankel is an American politician and lawyer currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 22nd congressional district. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the U.S. House from 2013 to 2017 and represented the 21st district from 2017 to 2023. Her extensive political career includes serving as the mayor of West Palm Beach for two terms and as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, where she became the first female Minority Leader in the state's history. Frankel is known for her advocacy on gun control, foreign policy, and women's rights, and she currently serves on the House Committee on Appropriations.
